The chickens moved into their new home almost a week before we could move it to the backyard. They really seemed to enjoy the space! (after that box do you blame them?? LOL!)
Maybe even Wilbur (my tiny one in the back) will start growing now!
It still has a few odds and ends that need finished... but WOWZA! It is a palace! And we have only spent less than $70 total to build it!
This is Jestin's chicken. He calls her Chicken. (and "sweetheart" if he thinks no one is listening...)
She loves him. This is a norm. She loves to have him talk to her & hold her... And she follows him and clucks... She is in love with her "Daddy" that's for sure!
“I don’t want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenk’s lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor’s children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone’s garden. I want to be there with children’s sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived.” -Marjorie Peay Hinckley
Jestin and I were high school sweethearts. We married 2 years out of high school, and have been falling deeper in love ever since! We love being married and love being parents! We are excited to keep our family and friends up to date with us and hope you will enjoy your visits here...and post comments if you'd like! *grin*

that is cool! I can't believe you have chickens. That is just so cool. Talk about a learning lesson for the kids, right in your backyard.
