Senior's Night Pre-view

OK... I will readily admit! I am jealous! HOW FUN IS THIS?!! They had a senior's night event that was so elaborate! I have never seen anything like it... it was based on "A Magic Carpet Ride" (Aladdin) In the afternoon before graduation they allowed the family of the graduates to come and pre-view the surprises that awaited them... they completely transformed the school!

The Entrance...
and then a second entrance to blow-up jumping houses, bean bag gathering spots, Wii games, and SO MUCH MORE!

The "Cave of Wonders"

Can you believe it??

Then you entered the "Market place" where you could get a massage, a manicure, a pedicure, snacks & treats, a temporary tatoo, and more games, as well as make your own music video with your friends!

There was a "gambling" hall where you could play all the games you can at a casino...but the winnings were tickets to any number of prizes including gaming stations, electronics, small appliances and even A NEW (used) CAR that was donated by a local dealership!

A few of the prizes...

They a full dinner and breakfast. The kids were "locked-in" until morning and could play and dance and have a great time ALL NIGHT LONG!

More of the prizes! It looked like a lot of fun! Kayelani and her boyfriend said that it was "ok". Typical teenage response. I say KUDDOS to those who pulled this off for those seniors! What a job that must have been!!
They had a wall of all the kids that signed up with scrapbook pages their parents made as a surprise for them. It was very sweet!
(Now I know this post is not about my family... but this is for the McOmber's *wink*)

holy cow! That is sweet. At my high school we were lucky to get some music playing while we all went crazy in the gym! That is amazing!!! Who is paying for all that?

The kids had to pay $75 to attend... and the local businesses did the rest! I think it is awesome! We only got a dance too... and Jess and I ended up crashed on his living room floor watching a movie when we got bored of that! LOL!
