Family Home Evening Funny

So... my sweet hubby was touched in church on sunday by a lesson on being "Peacemakers"... and so he decided that would be our topic for Family Home Evening this week...

We gathered around and he shared a scripture and then posed the question - "Who are the Peacemakers?"

Emma said people who are nice.

Cody said people who choose not to fight.

Cameron said people who are quiet.

And then Caleb...

Sweet sweet Caleb...

Who RARELY raises his hand with answers and usually ignores most of Family Home Evening (at least until we sing - and usually a rendition of ABC's just for him) raised his hand...

And in the sweetest, but most "knowledgable" tone he could muster said:

"Day is the da people's dat go into da titchen (kitchen) and steal's (takes) the da food 'n makes it! An den we eats it!"

You know...

Common... ya got know where he went with this! LOL

I could not stop giggling!! This is kid is such a fun guy to have around!! We all snickered through most of the rest of Home Evening... sorry sweetheart! LOL! We were slightly irreverent after that! What what were we talkin' about?? *giggle*
